Here's a Big High Five for Livi!

Dearest Livi,

Five years ago today, I had the privilege of seeing and holding you on the very day you were born, in Tallahassee, Florida.

Your dad's, mom's and my eyes were so filled with joy and wonderment. One, you were so small and so beautiful. Two, you were the first girl (other than your mom) in the Heffron family. And, three, you were so soft and smelled so good. All of us just wanted to hold you and be with you forever.

To me, that seems like yesterday. You have grown so fast.

So, little miss five year old, congratulations on a day when you can hold up all your fingers on one hand when someone ask you how old you are. That's pretty cool and I wish I could do that, too.

High five, Livi.

Know your Daddy Daddy and Melissa love you. We can't wait until the next time we get to have great times with you.


Oh yeah, and watch our for bears trying to give you a high five.
